Goals Journal – with free printable

Hi everyone, today I’m bringing you a little which won’t take much of your time to fill up, but will surely make you do a lot throughout the year. Meet the “Goals Journal”. It gives you a place to write down all your manifestation for this year, gives you a time to re-evaluate your life, and find out what can be made better; and most importantly it gives a place where you can check off the things you’ve done. And checking of a list of goals gives feeling of accomplishment which keeps us going farther than our limits.

This journal starts with a blank page named “vision board“. It is kept blank for you to throw all your imagination and creativity. Write about your dreams for this year here; draw what you want to do this year; stick magazine cut outs of stickers; write quotes to motivate yourself. Use this blank canvas to create a picture of how you want to see this new year to unfold. If you want to travel, stick pictures of your dream destination; if you want to learn new skills, add their picture here; if you want to make time for yourself, write it down here. This is the page you will come to when you feel out of focus in life, and realize what you want to do. Make it your own!

The second page is “yearly goals“. You can write your long term goals here. Go as detailed or as vague as you want. If reading is your goal, you can write read 50 books this year or just write ‘read more’. You don’t need to preset all your goals at the beginning of year. You can always add up and check off your goals. So don’t rush feeling it up.

The next page is “monthly goals“. This is a practical step toward your yearly goals. Break down your bigger goals into smaller and achievable goals per month. This will make sure you are not overwhelmed. Again going with example of reading here, if you are planning to read 50 books this year, monthly goal for January will be ‘read 4 books’ . If you are planning to run a marathon at the end of year, your monthly goal for January will be ‘go running daily 20 minute’. So simply write down your steps to achieve the yearly goals here.

Next page is “21 missions for 2021″. This is a fun page. Go crazy and write 21 fun things that you want to do this year, because having fun is a mission itself. Write anything from learning new musical instrument to trying new work out routine, from having your hair colored to getting a tattoo. This is where you will look for things to do when you are bored with routine life.

Final few pages are under a section called “21s of 21 things in 2021″. I know it sounds like a mathematical problem, but it’s way more joyful than that for sure. Here you will list 21 things ( like watching a movie, going on date night, having a spa day at home, listening to a podcast, meeting up with friends, family zoom calls) which you want to do at least 21 times a year. You will have a line to write your things and 20 boxes to tick when you do that thing once. And when you do that thing 21 times, you get to color entire 20 boxes in your favorite color. It seems like a theme to explain with example of reading in this blog so I will continue the same here. If your thing is ‘read non fiction books’ , after first non fiction book read, you will tick/cross one box. This will go on and when you have read 20 books, you will have that complete section filled. Now the 21st book will be special, after reading that book, you will color the entire section to mark it as completed.

This is another fun and light section. Don’t stress yourself, keep it simple. Focus on things you want more of in your life. This is a good place to keep track of 21- day challenges like 21 day vegan challenge or 21 day yoga challenge. Make most of it, and customize it to your needs.

This small journal will make you do things you always wanted to do. So print it out, keep it in a folder with all the rest of your planners, and make sure it’s visible to you everyday. Hope you will enjoy filling it up, even more than I enjoyed creating it. Here’s the link to the free printable version of goals Journal—>
