Gratitude Journal- with a free printable journal

Hi, hello and welcome back everyone! It’s been a real long time since I’ve blogged but I’m improving about writing more, and often. Let’s hope this gets better the coming year. Talking about the new upcoming year, I’m presenting a mini series to make full of each day, and start this blank canvas of new year with the brightest, freshest colors! I’m planning to offer digital journals for you all. You can simply download it, print it, and have a brand new journal all set to listen to your mind all year long. I’m more of a hand writer person, and it helps a lot rather than typing in mobile or laptop. That’s why I’ll highly recommend you to get a printed out journal.

So today’s journal is “Gratitude Journal “. If you have never had a journal, and just planning to start this year, this is the journal I’ll recommend for you. All you have to do is just spent 5 minutes, at the end of every day, when you are all relaxed, done for the day, all set for the bed. And at the end of the year you will have 365 good things happened this year. It’s our default habit to stick to any little thing that went wrong and simply forget all the blessings we have. This journal will help you change that. It will help you document all your happy moments, achievements and remember how beautiful your life is. Even at the end of a toughest day, you’ll have your favorite blanket, your family or your ability of not giving up to be thankful for. Don’t let any little blessing go unnoticed, write it down and have a positive recap of year in next December. Now going a little deeper inside journal,

The journal starts with a recap of 2020 page. Write about all your favorite moments of last year here, or draw what your 2020 looked like or even write a letter to yourself to read next year. Be creative, it’s just the beginning.

Next page is year in pixels. This page is for the kid inside you. You have a key, where you will assign a color to each mood, say red for happy, joyful; or blue for dull, sad, unmotivated. When you are set with the key, you have 365 pixels to color, throughout the year. At the end of every day, just think how your overall day was, was it productive, was it average or was it just lazy. Find the color assigned to that mood, and color in the pixel assigned to that day. Imagine how beautiful will it be to see this page at the end of year. Think for that end picture, and color in every day. Coloring sounds too much, go with patterns, assign vertical lines, dots, checkered patterns, horizontal lines to each mood and go with it. Want something bit more extra, go with stickers and add a sticker each day according to your mood. The choice is yours, this journal is just a guideline.

Next page is highlights of 2021. This page is strictly for all the positive changes, moments and habits that you developed this year. Just like an playlist of your favorite songs, fill this page with all your favorite things throughout the year.

Now the next pages are basic, for each day you will have a couple of blank lines to write. Stick to any simple thing, person or moment of that day that you are thankful for. And write about it. All it takes is 2 minutes. This is easy on your average or happy days, but on the days when you are feeling a little bit down, this 2 minute exercise will give you a sound sleep, a reminder of how beautiful your day actually was. Each page is dedicated to a week , week 1- week 53 for the year of 2021. Each page also has a section called accomplishments. Write about highlight of your week here, or any new positive change you developed, anything that you feel proud of have done in that particular week.

At the end of journal you will have a last page called “recap of 2021”, similar to the first page “recap of 2020”, just to be filled near the end of 2021. These two pages will show you a direct shift of mindset over the year.

I can write about this forever, because creative this journal and sharing it for you all here, has gave me immense joy. Do try this, tell me if you find it useful, share your experiences, and let me know all your suggestions and feedbacks. I will wrap up my thoughts now and let you explore this journal on your own. Go ahead and take a look at it. Hope you enjoy this.
